About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving it good hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance for demanding drilling work, including tougher, higher-tensile materials. It suits both professional and industrial use.
It has a 135° split point (to NAS 907 aerospace specification type P3), which reduces walking and helps produce more precise, heat-tolerant drilling. It features a standard right-hand spiral flute with a thick web, a bronze surface finish, and meets DIN 338 / BS328 / ISO 235 standards.
This size has a tip diameter of 4.80mm, a working length of 52mm and an overall length of 86mm.
