About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from high-speed steel with 8% cobalt content, giving it good hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance for demanding drilling work on tougher, higher-tensile materials. It is intended for professional and industrial use, including aerospace applications, where extra heat is generated during drilling.
It features a 135° split point (to NAS 907 aerospace specification type P3) with a standard right-hand spiral flute and thick web, which helps reduce walking and improve drilling accuracy. The bit has a bronze surface finish and conforms to DIN 338 / BS328 / ISO 235.
This size has a tip diameter of 6.00mm, an overall length of 93mm and a working length of 57mm.
