About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (high-speed steel with 8% cobalt), giving good hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance for demanding, high-stress drilling. It suits professional and industrial use, including tougher, higher-tensile materials where more heat is generated during drilling.
It features a 135° split point (NAS 907 aerospace specification type P3 geometry) which reduces walking and gives precise starts, along with a standard right-hand spiral flute design and a thick web. The bronze-finished bit conforms to DIN 338, and this model has a 6.80mm tip diameter, 69mm working length and 109mm overall length.
