About this product
The Faithfull 8mm Flat Bit is suited to everyday drilling tasks such as cable routing and fitting light fixtures. It has an overall length of 151mm, giving a good balance of control and hole diameter. Forged from a single piece of carbon steel and heat-treated for durability, it bores cleanly through timber with or against the grain, and also cuts MDF, plastics and plasterboard. The bit has a non-slip 1/4in hexagonal shank with a locking mechanism, compatible with adaptors or chucks that have a built-in quick-release feature, allowing secure mounting and easy bit changes. As one of the smaller sizes in the range, it has a streamlined design.
