About this product
The Faithfull 22mm Flat Bit is designed for larger installation work, such as boring for central heating pipes, waste runs and larger mounting hardware. It has an overall length of 151mm, giving controlled drilling for demanding applications. Forged from a single piece of carbon steel and heat-treated for added strength, it cuts cleanly and efficiently through all types of timber, with or against the grain, as well as MDF, plastics and plasterboard. The grooved tip and extended spurs help produce a clean cutting area and a faster boring speed. The bit has a non-slip 1/4in hexagonal shank with a locking mechanism, compatible with adaptors or chucks featuring a quick-release function, allowing secure fixing and easy bit changes.
