About this product
This Faithfull Flat Bit is 28mm in diameter and 151mm long, suited to large-diameter boring work such as drainage pipes, electrical installations and heavy-duty mounting hardware. It is forged from a single piece of carbon steel and heat-treated for strength and durability, cutting cleanly and efficiently through timber with or against the grain, as well as MDF, plastics and plasterboard. The grooved tip and extended spurs create a clean cutting area and increase boring speed. It has a non-slip 1/4in hexagonal shank with a locking mechanism, compatible with adaptors or chucks featuring a quick-release function, allowing secure fitting and fast bit changes.
