The Faithfull 12mm Forstner Bit is suited to general joinery work such as dowel holes, concealed hinges and small mounting hardware recesses, making it a useful addition for furniture makers and joiners. It is manufactured from forged, hardened steel for durability, with an ultra-sharp spur that ensures accurate positioning without the bit wandering on the material.
The steep, angled cutting edges produce smooth, flat-bottomed holes with clean edges, creating chisel-like curls for fast chip removal. The centre point helps with drilling straight, angled and overlapping holes. It is suitable for use on softwood, hardwoods, veneered wood and non-laminated chipboard, and is compatible with all drill drivers and bench drills fitted with a standard 8mm chuck. Supplied as a single 12mm bit.
