The Faithfull 15mm Forstner Bit is a popular size for furniture making and joinery, suited to standard concealed hinges, larger dowel applications and recessed mounting hardware. It's made from forged, hardened steel for durability, with an ultra-sharp spur that prevents walking and ensures accurate hole positioning.
Steep, angled cutting edges produce smooth, flat-bottomed holes with minimal tear-out, creating chisel-like curls for fast, clean chip removal. The centre point helps with drilling straight, angled and overlapping holes in softwood, hardwoods, veneered wood and non-laminated chipboard.
Compatible with all drill drivers and bench drills fitted with a standard 8mm chuck. Supplied as a single 15mm bit.
