The Faithfull 16mm Forstner Bit is suited to drilling holes for larger concealed hinges, pipe clearances, and substantial dowel joints in furniture making, including kitchen and bathroom cabinet work where pipework needs to pass through with clean openings.
Made from forged, hardened steel for durability, it has an ultra-sharp spur for accurate drilling without the bit wandering. The steep, angled cutting edges produce smooth, flat-bottomed holes and chisel-like curls for clean chip removal, while the centre point helps with straight, angled, and overlapping holes.
Suitable for softwood, hardwood, veneered wood, and non-laminated chipboard, and fits drill drivers and bench drills with a standard 8mm chuck.
