About this product
The Faithfull 45mm Forstner Bit is suited to large-scale drilling work, such as substantial architectural hardware, large-diameter pipe clearances and bespoke joinery, where clean, flat-bottomed holes are needed with good control.
It is made from forged, hardened steel for durability, with an ultra-sharp spur that gives accurate positioning without the bit walking on the material. Steep, angled cutting edges produce smooth, flat holes and chisel-like curls for efficient chip removal, while the centre point helps with drilling straight, angled and overlapping holes.
Suitable for softwood, hardwood, veneered wood and non-laminated chipboard, and compatible with drill drivers and bench drills fitted with a standard 8mm chuck. Supplied as a single 45mm bit.
