About this product
This Faithfull hinge bore bit is designed for drilling precise blind holes when fitting concealed (Blum) hinges in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom cabinet doors. At 35mm diameter, it is the more common size used for concealed hinge installations, making it a useful tool for cabinet makers and kitchen fitters. Made from high carbon steel (HCS), the bit works on natural woods and man-made boards such as blockboard, melamine faced boards, chipboard and MDF, though it is better suited to occasional rather than repetitive use in man-made materials. It measures 35mm diameter x 60mm long with an 8mm shank, and should always be used with a stand-mounted drill for accurate, safe results.
