About this product

This 2.5mm Faithfull HSSE M35 Cobalt Quick-Change Impact Drill Bit suits precision drilling in smaller diameter applications, such as fine metalwork and detailed fabrication. It has an overall length of 73mm and a working length of 30mm. The tip design features 7 cutting edges and 3 peaks, giving accurate self-centring and faster drilling than conventional split point bits, with a protruding centre tip that acts as a pilot to prevent wandering. Made from M35 HSSE grade steel with 5% cobalt content for increased heat resistance, it offers longer tool life and reduced burring than standard bits. The bit is impact rated with a 1/4in quick-change shank for use in impact drivers, and is produced to DIN 338 and DIN 3126-E6.3 standards. It is suited to heavy-duty industrial work in alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, titanium alloy and carbon fibre composites.
