This 5mm Faithfull HSSE M35 Cobalt Quick-Change Impact Drill Bit suits standard fixing and fastening work, including clearance holes for common bolt sizes and drilling through steel in workshops or on site. Its tip design has 7 cutting edges and 3 peaks, giving self-centring accuracy and faster drilling than conventional split point bits, with a protruding centre tip that acts as a pilot to stop wandering. Made from M35 HSSE grade steel with 5% cobalt content for increased heat resistance, it gives a good cutting finish with minimal burring and longer tool life in mild steel. It has a 1/4in quick-change shank, is impact rated for use in impact drivers, and is produced to DIN 338 and DIN 3126-E6.3 standards. Suited to alloy steels, stainless steels, cast iron, titanium alloy and carbon fibre composites. Overall length 102mm, working length 52mm, supplied singly.
