This Faithfull SDS Plus masonry drill bit measures 5.5mm in diameter, with an overall length of 110mm and a working length of 50mm. Its compact size sits between the more common 5mm and 6mm sizes, making it suited to specialised fixings and shallow-depth drilling in confined spaces.
The bit has a heavy-duty tungsten carbide tip and is designed for use in bricks, blocks, concrete containing aggregates, marble, hard stone and other hard masonry materials. It fits SDS Plus chucks, giving a secure, non-slip grip that transmits power efficiently for rotary percussion drilling, and allows quick changing via a keyless chuck.
The fluted shaft is designed to maximise power transmission and avoid a serviceable cutting edge being wasted through shank wear.
