This Faithfull SDS Plus masonry drill bit measures 5.5mm in diameter, with a 160mm overall length and 100mm working length. The 5.5mm size sits between standard 5mm and 6mm holes, useful for specific fixings. It has a heavy-duty tungsten carbide tip suited to drilling bricks, blocks, concrete containing aggregates, marble and other hard stone or masonry materials.
The SDS Plus shank fits SDS Plus chucks, giving a secure, non-slip grip that transmits maximum power during rotary percussion drilling. Its fluted shaft design maximises power transmission and avoids a good cutting edge being wasted through a worn shank, while the SDS Plus system allows quick changing of bits via a keyless chuck.
