About this product
This Faithfull SDS Plus drill bit is 5.5mm in diameter with an overall length of 210mm and a working length of 150mm, an intermediate size between the common 5mm and 6mm bits and with extra reach for deeper drilling, such as cavity walls and thicker masonry sections.
It is tungsten carbide tipped for a long service life and fits SDS Plus chucks, giving a secure, non-slip grip that transmits maximum power during rotary percussion drilling. The fluted shaft helps maintain power transmission and avoids a worn shank rendering a good cutting edge useless, while the SDS Plus system allows quick changing via a keyless chuck.
Suitable for use in bricks, blocks, concrete containing aggregates, marble, hard stone and other hard masonry materials.
