About this product
This 5-piece set of alloy steel wood drill bits features a brad point (lip and spur) cutting tip, the preferred design for drilling wood, chipboard and MDF. The steeper twist angle and deeper flute than standard HSS bits allow rapid clearance of waste material, helping to prevent clogging and overheating. The brad point tip centres accurately before cutting, reducing wandering and giving cleaner bore holes, making the set suitable for dowelling jigs and general joinery work. The set covers five commonly used sizes: 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm. Working lengths range from 43mm on the 4mm bit up to 80mm on the 10mm bit, with overall lengths from 75mm to 130mm respectively.
