About this product

This 6.0 x 100mm masonry drill bit from Irwin is suited to general purpose drilling in brickwork, concrete and breeze block, and is a popular size for use with standard wall plugs. It is designed for fast, efficient drilling, particularly with cordless drills, offering up to 60% faster drilling than competitive bits. A single flute design gives faster dust removal and increased drilling speed, while the pressed diamond-ground carbide tip provides aggressive cutting action and around 20% longer life than previous Irwin masonry bits. The chrome vanadium body has a high carbon content, allowing greater hardening for a stronger bit with maximum rupture strength.
