About this product
This plug-in RCD adaptor from Faithfull Power Plus fits between a mains socket and any 240V appliance, offering portable protection against electric shock. It continuously monitors the power supply and cuts off within 40 milliseconds of detecting an earth leakage fault, fast enough to prevent a fatal shock. It is particularly suited to portable power tools such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers and mains-powered drills, especially outdoors or where cables may be damaged or exposed to damp. It guards against faults caused by loose wiring, damaged cords or water ingress. The adaptor is not suitable for use on pond equipment, since disconnecting it removes the protective function.
