About this product
The Faithfull TRAN5 is a portable site transformer that converts 240V mains power to 110V, for safely running industrial power tools such as drills, grinders and saws on construction sites, workshops and outdoor locations. It has three outlets — two 16 amp sockets and one 32 amp socket — allowing multiple tools to be connected at once. The heavy-duty GRP case is IP44 rated, giving full weatherproofing and protection against dust and water for use in typical worksite conditions. Safety features include re-settable thermal overload protection and a rubber cable fitted with a BS approved 13 amp plug for secure mains connection. It is rated at 5 kVA intermittent and 2.8 kVA continuous, and is not suitable for use with 110V heaters requiring a continuous load.
