The Makita DML815 is a cordless LED torch that runs on any 14.4V or 18V Makita LXT battery, making it a handy addition for anyone already using Makita cordless tools. It suits site work, workshop tasks and inspection jobs where a bright, directable light is needed.
Four 0.5W LEDs produce a 160-lumen spotlight, and the head pivots across 12 positions with stops from 0° to 170°, allowing the beam to be aimed into confined spaces or overhead. With a BL1860B battery it can run for up to 54 hours.
The torch has a lightweight, ergonomic body with a soft-grip handle and a metal strap hook for hands-free use on toolbelts or scaffolding. It measures 272mm x 79mm x 116mm and weighs between 0.26kg and 0.93kg depending on the battery fitted. This is a body-only tool, sold without battery or charger.
