About this product
Vitax Compost Maker is a compost accelerator that speeds up the breakdown of organic garden and household waste, turning it into rich, dark compost in weeks rather than months. It contains organic nutrients that help decompose materials which would otherwise break down very slowly, offering an economical way to recycle waste at home. It can be used with a wide range of organic matter, including grass cuttings, weeds, leaves, vegetable matter, egg shells and shredded woody material, and suits compost heaps, bins or plastic sacks. For heaps, alternate layers of material with the accelerator and cover the top with a polythene sheet to keep it warm and moist. For bins and sacks, mix the accelerator in with the material as you fill them. Supplied in a 2.5kg box.
