About this product
ForgeFix Loft Legs are insulation spacers that raise the loft floor by 175mm, creating a storage platform above the insulation layer without compressing it. They fix directly to ceiling joists, with loft boards or 18mm chipboard screwed on top to form the raised platform. By keeping insulation at full depth, they help preserve U-values and energy efficiency, since compressed insulation can lose over 50% of its effectiveness. This lets homeowners have both full loft insulation and usable storage space, rather than choosing one or the other. Made in the UK from recycled materials, the legs are lightweight yet strong, and compatible with standard tongue and groove loft panels or 18mm chipboard. Supplied as a pack of 12.
