Draper DGAC04 Quiet Garden Shredder

The Draper DGAC04 is a quiet electric garden shredder designed for homeowners and gardeners who need powerful chipping performance without the noise associated with rapid or impact-type machines. Powered by a 2,800W induction motor, the DGAC04 uses a low-speed, high-torque rotary blade to process branches up to 45mm in diameter. Operating at just 42rpm, the blade is far quieter than conventional high-speed shredders, making it a practical choice for use in residential settings where noise is a consideration. Loading is safe and straightforward thanks to the feed hopper and safety plunger, which allows material to be guided into the machine without any contact with the blade. If the blade becomes jammed, the reverse function clears blockages quickly without the need to dismantle the unit. Chippings are collected in a 60L collection box, keeping the working area tidy and making it easy to gather material for composting or disposal. The steel frame provides robust support, and integrated wheels allow the machine to be moved around the garden with minimal effort. The 3m power cable offers a useful working radius from a mains socket.
