About this product
The DEWALT DCMAS5713X1 is a cordless 54V FlexVolt split boom system supplied with a grass trimmer attachment, powered by a brushless motor for extended run time. The split shaft design allows the tool to be broken down for compact storage and transport, and the power head accepts other attachments in the range, such as a brush cutter, hedge trimmer or pole saw, sold separately.
The trimmer head cuts a 38cm swath using 2mm twisted line fed via a bump feed spool, with speed settings of 4,650 (low) and 5,800 (high) and a variable speed trigger. It has an overmoulded handle and a protective guard. It weighs 5.4kg bare, or 6.4kg with the battery fitted.
Supplied with a DeWalt XR FlexVolt 54V 3.0Ah Li-ion battery, which is also compatible with DeWalt 18V XR cordless tools, and a battery charger.
