This 5.5kg (12lb) Roughneck Gorilla Sledge Hammer is designed for heavy-duty demolition, concrete breaking and driving large posts. It is precision forged from high-carbon steel, with a dome-shaped striking point that concentrates force, plus a larger than normal striking face with a chamfered edge for general-purpose use.
Both main striking faces are induction heat-treated for hardness and durability, while a separate unhardened side face is specifically intended for striking wooden posts. The shaft is steel, fitted with a shock-absorbing TPE soft grip handle for comfort and control during high-impact work.
