About this product
The Thor 02-114 is a size 3 hide mallet with a 44mm head diameter, suited to jewellery work, sheet metal work, die cutting, and use on copper, brass and other soft metals. It also suits equine care and general metalworking tasks where a firm strike is needed without marking finished surfaces. The head is made from a single piece of genuine water buffalo hide, tightly coiled, pressed under hydraulic presses and seasoned over several months, giving a durable, uniform head that absorbs recoil and dampens sound for controlled strikes. It is fitted with a wooden handle designed to reduce vibration and improve comfort and control during use.
