This Thor Size 4 Copper & Hide Hammer weighs 2380g and has a 50mm diameter head, offering substantial striking force for demanding tasks such as rail maintenance, automotive and general engineering, metalworking and fabrication. The dual-face design combines a 99.99% pure electrolytic copper face for harder, high-impact strikes with a compressed water buffalo hide face for softer, controlled blows that won't mark finished surfaces. Copper's non-sparking properties make it suitable where steel-on-steel contact would pose a safety risk, while the hide face absorbs recoil and dampens sound. The malleable cast iron head is built for durability, and both faces are replaceable when worn. It is fitted with a wooden handle designed to reduce vibration and recoil, improving comfort and control during use.
