The Thor 1616 is a dead blow hammer weighing 1.15kg (41oz) with a 50mm face diameter, suited to demanding assembly, maintenance and installation work across automotive, construction, rail and industrial settings. Its aluminium steel shot-filled head reduces rebound and increases striking force, delivering controlled blows of maximum power without damaging the workpiece.
It is fitted with screw-in white nylon faces made from impact-resistant Nylon 6/6 (Shore D57-61), suitable for both light and heavy-duty use. These faces can be interchanged and replaced to extend the hammer's life. A shock-absorbent rubber grip on an aluminium alloy shaft, 325mm in length, improves comfort and control during repetitive strikes and helps reduce hand fatigue.
