The Thor 2020 Dead Blow Nylon Hammer is a heavy-duty tool with a 1.85kg (65oz) head and 63mm face, designed for demanding assembly, maintenance and installation work across automotive, construction, rail and industrial sectors. Its aluminium steel shot-filled head reduces rebound and increases striking force, delivering powerful dead blows with complete control and without damaging surfaces.
It is fitted with screw-in white nylon faces made from impact-resistant Nylon 6/6 (Shore D57-61), which can be interchanged or replaced to extend the tool's working life. A shock-absorbent rubber grip improves comfort and control while reducing hand fatigue during strenuous use. The handle measures 370mm and is made from aluminium alloy.
