About this product
This is a replacement white super plastic face for size 2 Thor split head hammers, with a 38mm (1½ in) face diameter. It is designed to fit into malleable iron heads, offering a medium-duty striking surface with a good balance between area and control.
Made from ultra-high molecular weight polythene, the face will not fracture, splinter or delaminate with use, giving high impact resistance, durability and abrasive resistance. It serves as an alternative to traditional rawhide faces, providing more consistent striking performance over time.
