About this product
The Bahco ProfCut PC-22-INS is a 550mm (22in) handsaw with waved toothing designed specifically for cutting insulation materials such as mineral wool, glass wool, EPS, XPS and rock wool. It has 7 TPI and a 0.83mm blade, matching conventional saw specifications, but left untreated by varnish or powder coating to reduce friction and keep the edge sharp for longer. The blade can be re-sharpened using any standard knife sharpener, helping maintain cutting performance over time. It gives clean cuts with low friction and less dust, suited to professional installers working on thermal insulation and loft insulation projects. A two-component handle offers comfort during extended use, and the saw comes with a protective sleeve impregnated with a Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) to guard the blade against corrosion during storage and transport.
