About this product
The IRWIN Jack EVO Universal Hand Saw is a 525mm (20.1/2in) handsaw with 11 TPI, suited to professional tradespeople and DIYers for general cutting of timber, manufactured boards and plastics. It uses 'Human Interaction Technology', aligning the handle position with the tooth design to improve cutting speed, ease and finish while reducing the effort needed, allowing use of up to 100% of the blade. The steel blade has a high angled nose for added stability and power transfer, and a lacquer coating said to give up to four times better rust protection than traditional finishes. The hardened teeth are designed to hold their sharpness, with an optimised tooth design and set for versatile cutting performance. A finger rest aids control, and the ultrasonically welded soft-grip handle is light yet strong for comfortable handling during use.
