About this product
This 150mm (6in) Bahco ERGO™ Handled Flat File has a bastard (coarse) cut, suited to high-alloy tool steels and general filing work. Its compact length makes it useful in confined spaces or on smaller workpieces, where control and access matter more than rapid stock removal, though the coarse cut still gives an efficient removal rate.
The file has parallel edges and surfaces, with double-cut faces, one uncut edge and one single-cut edge. This construction suits deburring, filing flat and concave surfaces, sharp corners, shoulders and large holes.
It is fitted with Bahco's two-component ERGO™ handle, designed for comfort and grip during precise filing tasks. File width is 16mm, thickness 4mm, with 12 teeth per cm.
