About this product
The Bahco Hand File is a 200mm (8in) file with a bastard (coarse) cut, giving approximately 26 teeth per 25mm for a high rate of material removal. It is designed for filing flat surfaces, sharp corners and shoulders, as well as for deburring work.
It features a double cut on both sides with one safe edge, allowing work to be carried out in corners without damaging adjacent surfaces. The sides are parallel with a slight taper in thickness, and the file is tanged for secure fitting to a handle.
Suited to work on high-alloy tool steels and useful for sharpening heavy implements, this file offers good coverage and control for general workshop filing tasks.
