The Bahco 250mm (10in) Round Bastard Cut File is designed for filing circular openings and concave surfaces. Suited to metalworking, automotive repair and general fabrication, it removes material quickly before finer finishing is carried out.
The semi-pointed profile (as used on files of this length and longer) tapers towards the point, allowing work in openings of varying depth. It has a double cut tooth pattern with approximately 26 teeth per 25mm, giving a coarse cut for rapid stock removal with reduced clogging. The file is tanged for fitting a handle.
