About this product
The Bahco FM10 ERGO™ Filemaster is a 250mm dual-sided flat file suited to a wide range of workshop tasks. One side has shear cut teeth for working steel, plastics, laminates and hard woods, while the other has curved teeth designed for fast removal of soft metals such as lead and aluminium, plus soft wood and fillers. This combination gives a high removal rate on soft materials while leaving a smooth finish, and makes it effective for deburring, filing large holes, and working both concave and flat surfaces.
The file is protected by a paint coating to guard against corrosion, and is fitted with Bahco's two-component ERGO™ handle, developed through ergonomic research to give a comfortable, secure grip during use. File width is 24.5mm, thickness 5mm, with 4 and 5 teeth per cm.
