Blackedge Carpenter's Pencils - Assorted (Card 12) 34326

The Blackedge Assorted Carpenters Pencils are specialist marking tools designed for professional carpentry and construction applications. These traditional carpenter's pencils feature an oblong cross-section that can be sharpened to create a chisel-shaped edge, eliminating the common problem of pointed pencils following the wood grain during marking. This versatile pack includes 12 pencils in three colour-coded grades to suit different materials and surfaces. The green pencils feature a hard lead formulation ideal for marking hardwoods, brickwork and plastered walls. Red pencils offer a medium grade suitable for general carpentry tasks across various timber types. Blue pencils provide a soft lead specifically designed for softwoods and newly felled timber where a darker, more visible mark is required. The assorted pack ensures tradespeople have the appropriate marking tool for any material they encounter on site. The flat profile prevents the pencils from rolling off work surfaces, whilst the chisel edge delivers clean, accurate marking lines that won't be deflected by wood grain patterns.
