About this product
This 150mm diamond whetstone from DMT has an Extra Coarse, black 220 grit (60 micron) surface designed for fast material removal. It suits repairing chipped or damaged edges, reshaping badly worn blades, and giving very dull tools an initial sharpen before moving on to finer grades. It also works well for kitchen knives and smaller workshop tools that need heavier restoration.
The stone comes in a plastic case fitted with non-skid rubber feet, which keeps it steady during use. The case base can also be screw mounted to a bench, allowing it to be set up as a permanent sharpening station.
