About this product
This DMT W8 Diamond Whetstone is a 200mm sharpening stone with a Coarse, blue-coded 325 grit (45 micron) diamond surface, suited to initial sharpening and removing material from dull or damaged edges. It's designed for kitchen knives and smaller workshop tools that need more aggressive material removal before finishing on a finer grit.
The stone comes with a non-skid hardwood case that provides a stable base during use, and mounting tabs are moulded into the base for permanent fitting if wanted. The wide diamond surface accommodates a range of knife and tool sizes, and the design is double-sided for added versatility.
