About this product
The Faithfull All Steel Cable Laying Shovel is a contractor's tool designed for cutting narrow trenches for underground cables and conduits. It has a solid forged carbon manganese steel blade and socket, correctly tempered for strength, with a narrow tapered blade measuring 270 x 140-115mm suited to precision trenching where a standard shovel would be too wide. The tubular steel shaft, 700mm long, is welded directly to the socket for a strong, smooth join, and the tool has a powder coated finish to help prevent rust. A wide and deep MYD hilt accommodates large or gloved hands, and a wooden cross dowel handle adds further comfort during use. Suited to utility work, landscaping and electrical installation projects requiring narrow cable channels.
