About this product
The Faithfull All Steel Trenching Shovel is a heavy-duty digging tool designed for creating narrow trenches for underground cables and pipes, suited to groundworkers, landscapers and utility contractors. The blade and socket are solid forged carbon manganese steel, correctly tempered for strength, with a tapered blade shape that cuts efficiently through soil while keeping the trench narrow. The tubular steel shaft is welded directly to the socket for a strong, smooth join, and the whole tool has a powder coated finish to help prevent rust in wet ground conditions. A wide, deep MYD hilt accommodates large or gloved hands, with a wooden cross dowel for added comfort during use. The blade measures 270 x 185-160mm and the shaft is 700mm long.
