About this product
This Faithfull Roofing Square, also known as a rafter or framing square, is a tool for carpenters working on roofing and general woodworking projects. At 400 x 600mm (16 x 24in), it is the larger of the sizes available, giving extended reach for marking larger timber sections and layout work.
It is made from heavy-duty steel with a black powder-coated finish for protection against corrosion, and is clearly graduated in both metric and imperial, with conversion charts printed on the reverse.
When hand cutting a roof, it can be used to determine hips, valleys, bird beaks, plumb cuts and overhang cuts, and the conversion chart printed on the square allows rises and pitches to be calculated directly.
