About this product
This 180mm roofing square is a compact, manoeuvrable tool suited to smaller-scale roofing work, internal carpentry and jobs where access is tight. Made from aluminium using CNC machines, it has a black anodised finish for corrosion resistance and laser-etched scales for accurate measurement.
It combines the functions of a combination, try and framing square, doubling as a saw guide for 45° and 90° cuts and as a protractor for measuring angles and pitches, useful when marking out rafters or cutting bird's mouth joints. The adjustable protractor arm locks in place with a brass screw, helpful for repetitive cuts.
Also known as a layout, angle, rafter or speed square, it is a common tool among carpenters for quick, accurate marking out. It is covered by Faithfull's 10-year Prestige guarantee.
