About this product
This set combines a 7-inch quick roofing square and a 7-inch sliding bevel, both CNC-machined from aluminium with a black anodised finish for corrosion resistance and laser-engraved markings that won't wear off. The roofing square, also known as a layout, rafter or speed square, combines the functions of a combination, try and framing square. It suits basic measurements, acts as a saw guide for 45° and 90° cuts, and can be used as a protractor for measuring angles and pitches, with pre-etched reference points for marking common-size timbers, useful for cutting rafter ends and wall shoulders. The sliding bevel is for laying out and transferring non-standard or irregular angles, complementing the square for both conventional and complex woodworking tasks.
