About this product
This pocket-sized meter measures moisture content in materials such as timber, paper, cardboard, mortar, concrete and plaster, displaying readings as a percentage on a backlit LCD display for use in dark conditions. It also measures ambient temperature between 0-40°C, giving extra diagnostic information alongside moisture readings. Measurement range is 6-42% for wood and 0.2-2.0% for building materials, with resolutions of 1% for wood, 0.1% for materials and 1°C for temperature. Auto power-off and a low battery indicator help preserve battery life, and a probe cover protects the measurement pins during storage. It runs on 4 x LR44 batteries, supplied with the unit, and its compact size makes it easy to carry on site.
