About this product
The Faithfull Voltage Detector Stick is a non-contact AC voltage detector suited to electricians, contractors and maintenance professionals. It detects AC voltage from 5V to 1000V, making it useful for testing sockets and wires and for locating break points in live cables before maintenance work.
When voltage is detected, a red LED flashes and a built-in buzzer sounds short beeps. A rotary power switch adjusts detection sensitivity, and a built-in illumination function helps when working in dark spaces such as lofts or under floors. The LED also flashes periodically to show sufficient battery power remains.
It is rated CAT IV 1000V, operates across a 50-400Hz frequency range, and features a pocket clip for easy access. It weighs approximately 50g including batteries, measures 154 x 32 x 28mm, and is supplied with 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries and a user manual.
