About this product
This compact whetstone from Faithfull is designed for sharpening both flat and curved cutting edges. It combines two flat diamond surfaces, offering 400 grit coarse and 600 grit medium finishes, suited to chisels, knives, scissors and other cutting blades.
Two removable diamond rods, in 6mm and 12mm diameters with a 600 grit finish, are intended for honing concave wood carving chisels and moulding plane blades that flat stones cannot reach. The rods can be taken out and used individually, or rotated within the holder to extend their working life.
The whetstone measures 103 x 40 x 12mm and can be used dry or with water as a lubricant, so no oils are needed.
