About this product
The Faithfull FAIDWTAPE200 is a 200mm (8in) drywall taping knife designed for spreading jointing compound and applying paper or fibreglass tape over joints in plasterboard. Its compact width suits standard residential jointing work and more detailed tasks where precise control is needed, particularly in tighter spaces.
The blade is made from flexible, tapered Blue Steel, which helps when running the knife into corners, and it's fitted to a soft grip handle with a thumb rest for comfortable extended use. As well as taping joints, it can be used for covering nail and screw indents, patching holes, and smoothing wall-coverings.
The tool is intended for spreading and smoothing drywall joint compound only, and should not be used for cutting, prying or scraping hard materials. It should be inspected before use and replaced if bent, damaged or corroded.
