About this product
This curved diamond whetstone from Faithfull is designed for sharpening wood turning tools and carving chisels. Its curved profile tapers from around 3mm (1/8in) radius at the small end to 28mm (1.1/8in) at the large end, allowing it to sharpen both concave and convex cutting edges across a range of gouge and chisel sizes. The double-sided steel stone is coated with mono crystalline diamond, offering a 600 grit medium side for sharpening blunt edges and a 1200 grit fine side for final honing. It measures 250 x 56 x 17mm and can be used dry or with water as a lubricant, with no oils required.
